Pencil it into the calendar now – Friday 13th July in Oughterard Golf Club (it will be lucky Friday the 13th for some!) –
After the success of the club’s golf day over the last two years, you won’t want to miss it this year.
Test your golf skills against a wide range of Salthill Devon players, supporters, parents etc.
Last year Peter Keane’s team had a record score of 93 points to take home the Padraic Morahan Memorial Trophy. There were prizes last year for the first 10 teams along with longest drive and closest to the pin.
For anyone yet to take part it's a really enjoyable club day out with a great night after as the prizes are presented down in Sheridan afterwards.
So please sign up again and spread the word to any friends of the club, parents of kids in your squads, work mates – put up the poster in your work place etc.
Late tee times are available if you can’t get off work early on the Friday – just let me know in early as these time slots tend to go very quickly.
The details on the day are below:
- €180 to enter a team – teams of four players
- Best two scores to count on each hole –> so a real team event and good for all levels of golfers
- Presentation of the Padraig Morahan Memorial trophy and prizes with a few drinks after in Tom Sheridan’s Pub – Knocknacarra
